Observation Units in Houston Have Been a Success

Legend is pleased to announce the success of its Observation Suites located in the Houston, Texas market.

Thanks to the Patient First Initiative; these units have dramatically reduced the number of patients requiring transfers to hospital emergency rooms and as a result have improved the quality care and reduced the stress on patients.

Legend’s North Houston facility has demonstrated its ability to provide care for a very high acute care need population. Of the 56 skilled admissions for the first quarter, 34 were discharged to their home. That is an unprecedented 61.7% discharge to home rate!

Legend provides an excellent combination of state-of-the-art therapy equipment and skilled therapy services that focus on the individual patient needs in order to return them to their highest possible level of functionality.
